Designing the Driveway & Turf
Central to the project was the Driveway & Turf, intended to be more than just functional; it was designed to be a centerpiece. Our choice of Thick Interlocking Concrete Pavers in a Glacier color from Tremron, laid in a Running Sailor Border pattern, was not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and suitable for the Florida climate. This particular pattern was chosen for its dynamic yet elegant appearance, creating a striking first impression for any visitor.
Crafting with Precision
The installation process was a testament to our team’s attention to detail and expertise. Starting with the driveway, we laid a foundation of double crushed lime rock and screening of sand. This foundation ensured a stable base for the 2 3/8″ standard pavers that followed. The concrete edge restraint on all outside open borders was a critical element, locking the entire driveway together for increased durability and longevity.
A Personalized Walkway
A unique feature of the project was the walkway from the front door to the bottom of the stairs. Aligning with our client’s vision, we suggested and installed pavers that matched the width of the steps and extended the length of the left garage. This bespoke element added a personal touch to the project, making the walkway not just a path, but a statement of style and thoughtfulness.
